Allright guys. I ordered an RS hex head magazine release lock screw for my Kimber just to spice it up a little extra. I had a regular one at hand and it looked like I could make it fit with some minor mods so I dropped 5 USD + 10 USD on international shipping for this part from Brownells and went to town with my mods… And I failed misserably 
The locking pin of the RS magazine release sits too far out, and so to make it go in flush with the frame and release I had to file it down to move the part inwards. Howerver the same locking pin appears to have to be the original thickness to lock in the frame properly. So it worked itself loose when inserting the magazine. Oh well, worth a try. And I am suprised I am still alive after all these mods considering what an idiot I am when it comes to modding parts and using tools… See ya !
